NOOSE live @ Subterranean 1/16/11

The photographs above were taken by Linette Segaline. The lineup for the show was NOOSE, Mother of Mercy, Outbreak, and Sick of it All. This was our first time playing a "professional rock club". All in all it was a pretty good experience; over the past few years SubT has kept the bouncers to a minimum and allowed stage dives. The only thing I'd chance is that weird part of the stage that juts out and holds various PA speakers. It hinders crowd participation during sets where people aren't forcibly packed up front.

Anyway, we played well and included one new song and the Brotherhood cover in our set. I kept the between song preaching to a minimum because I had a severe cold and my throat was sore. I did say a few words about being vegan, however. That's a must!

Sick of it All covered "Straight Ahead" and sent it out to Noose. I dove between fifteen and twenty times during their set; it was really fun but I wish they would play more songs off of Just Look Around.

We're proud to be putting out a 7" version of our demo on REACT! Records, one of the best labels in the world. Aram has been a huge supporter of our band and we thank him for the chance to be a part of the team. This is a one time only pressing of this 7" and once it's gone it's gone for good. 200 on Blue, 300 on Red, and 400 on Black. We won't have our copies until late Feburary, so getting them from the label is probably the best way to make sure you get a copy.

REACT! is also putting out some shirts for us in the next week or so that will only be available from them so keep an eye on that.
